Sweet Smell of Spring Part 2

Our second Sugar House stop was at Ken McGill's Farm. We have bought our syrup from Ken for about 15 years!!! New Hampshire syrup Grade A medium or Grade B is the best. Ken still fires his operation with wood - about 40 cord just during the sugaring season. Just when one walks into the Sugar House the smell of the syrup boiling engulfs you completely. We also enjoyed a taste of his syrup and took home with us New Hampshire imprinted maple sugar candy! What a treat!
