Home education is not our primary goal at home -- home discipleship is.  Home education is simply the natural extension of home discipleship.

  1. Dear Mrs. Pena,
What a wonderful quote. I just posted an entry entitled "What is Homeschooling?". My family finds it odd that so often, instead of starting with the God's Word and building our lives around it, all too often Christians tend to try to make the Bible fit our culture. Such is the case with "home education". How sad that many try to copy what is happening in the public or private schools and just add some Bible lessons to it. Many homeschool simply because they are dissatisfied for whatever reason with the public school instead of understanding that this is what God intended for us to do when He said to "train up a child".

May God continue to bless you and your family!
