Motherhood is a far-reaching destiny indeed.
It is a high calling, a noble work, a great honor to any woman. Motherhood, if used rightly, can bring a woman more happiness and genuine satisfaction than anything in life. For God made a woman, and fitted her by nature for this task.--Beautiful Girlhood
Just an ordinary woman, striving to be that "aged" woman of Titus 2..teaching the younger women good things: so that they may be sober, love their husbands, love their children, and to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands that the Word of God be not blasphemed.

Dear Mrs. Pena,
ReplyDeleteHow true! How true! I have been listening to a wonderful 4 part radio broadcast by John MacArthur entitled,"God's High Call for Women" when I walk in the mornings. What a blessing it is to be a mother...and to be obedient to God's Word.
Along the same lines, you have done a wonderful job at mothering...my son, Joshua, is so enjoying his friendship with your son, Nathanael. He loves dicussing scripture topics
with him, and getting his thoughts and opinions on such matters. I know Josh is looking forward to the day when they will actually meet in person. You must be a wonderful mother to have raised such a Godly son.
God bless,
Laura
