Foundations Matter
Just an ordinary woman, striving to be that "aged" woman of Titus 2..teaching the younger women good things: so that they may be sober, love their husbands, love their children, and to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands that the Word of God be not blasphemed.

ReplyDeleteI just posted on your response to the scripture verse on your wall...but then saw this quote and really felt led to make a comment. This particular subject has been on our hearts and in our prayers for quite sometime now...in regards to the local church in America. I'm not sure if your son has shared with you or not...but we have been praying and studying about "home churches" for almost a year now. I could go on forever...but my son, Joshua, shared with us that you have also gone down this road...and I wondered if you had any insights on the subject. Would love to hear any input you might like to share.

This is very profound. It reminds me of a Chinese proverb that says a man will end up in the direction he is going. Seems like it would be good to examine our ways?
