It is books that teach us to refine our pleasures when young, and to recall them with satisfaction when we are old. -- L. Hunt

  1. Good Morning, Mrs. Pena,
Don't you just love a good read? I recently discovered that Harriet Beecher Stowe and her older sister, Catherine, started two seminaries many years ago to train young ladies in the art of being a Godly woman, wife, mother, and homemaker. I am reading their book (I found it in our library) entitled "The American Woman's Home". Apparently this was as much of an issue back then as it seems to be today. It is a wonderful read...chapters on just about anything you can imagine having to do with the home...and still timely and relevant.

    Have a blessed day!
    Laura
