A Bike Ride

We have been looking forward to this day for weeks.  We put all the bikes in good working order.  Bought a few little luxuries (padded seats), made our biking outfits, fix some power snacks, packed plenty of water, recharged the batteries for the camera.  We are ready for the Cape Cod Rail Trail!  or are we??

So far all looks good.  It's about 9:30am and we are ready to start!

All though the day was a bit humid and hazy...that didn't dampen our enthusiasm.

We  had lots to see on the trip.  Rabbits hopping across our path, swans and geese swimming in ponds, birds darting about that we don't see here in NH. We saw beautiful ponds and streams.  There was lovely flowers and interesting trees.  We stopped at quaint little villages.  We visited the Salt Ponds and museum learning about the Kettle pools and see the beautiful landscape.
Congratulations!!  We made it!  35 miles of biking in 5 hours!  All look like they are in good spirits from the day.

Oops....

Well almost all!

1 Timothy 4:8  For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

  1. Sounds like fun... I love the matching dresses. I remember correctly, I was the one who thought you would like that fabric. Now I just wish Abigail and I could match, too!

  2. I believe we went to South Adams, MA with Beth V quite a few years ago when we bought that fabric. So much for covering cushions with it. We had just enough for the girls. It was Christianna's idea!! Thanks for being a part--encouraging me to buy it. Your day will fast be here to make dresses or outfits alike for you and Abigail and maybe Baby Galla, too!

  5. Dear Friends,
What a great family outing! We, too, wish that we could have attended the family conference in Massachusetts...it appears to have been a wonderful event for God's children.
    Have a blessed day,
    Laura
