First Day -- A Blessing Day

Several years ago, we started a little tradition...First Day! First Day is a day to bless others...at least for us to shower others in the family...or that might be staying with us...blessings:
Little notes
Special breakfast
Special dessert
Small gift
Burdick's Chocolate!!!!
Special activity.
The "Special Blessings" are not big items...they are small.  I originally thought it was a good way to start off each month! A new month, a new beginning, a new adventure!
Christianna and Lydia blessed me this First Day of the New Year with a delightful Kangaroo and her little Joey!
With all the excitement of the Celebration the night before -- I completely forgot about First Day- but they didn't!
I am truly blessed!

  2. I really like her. Partly because of the lady who makes them...but I really blessed because of the love that you shower on me.

  4. Dear Mandy,
This is absolutely darling! What a sweet and loving gesture! It looks as though it was possibly made out of a sweater???

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

  7. Laura,
It is from a sweater!! The lady lives here in New Hampshire and she started doing this about 20 years ago. She now sells her creations all over the world. They are so very lovely!

  8. If anyone wants to buy another one this year, I could think of a place to put it... Or maybe we can come up and I can go with you! That would be more fun.

So does it live on the table in the living room?
