Abigail Visits Grandma

In July I was down at Rebecca's for a day trip  and to pick up Keziah and Christianna, when suddenly plans changed!  Christianna stayed for a bit longer and Abigail came home with me!  That week she was with us was full of simple daily activities.  

These in-the-moment activities are what I want to record.

No special techniques or designs here.

Although there are three layers of paper.

The top two I used the blending tool.

Simple easy layout.

National Ice Cream Day

This day rolls around every year.  What a great time to stop in the Walpole Creamery for some delicious ice-cream.

This is another easy page with not too much time in details.  Little changes and enhancements really make a page stand out.

Used the 3-D filter on yellow ribbon, change the color of the trim on the ice-cream cones and banner using the wand tool, created a stand off the page with inserting font shape, layering, and 3-D.

A Special Visit

I have begun recording the special events for the month of August in Artisan. We had many opportunities for photo shoots while Steve's parents were with us.

I used a picture to use as the background..then I applied a filter- Mosaic. I like the effect this had on the background!
