Life's Journey

These two pages were created the Designs by Laura Burger, new art kit  Life's Journey,  Vintage Dreams https://store.forever.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=187031&search=Vintage+Dreams

I love the natural color papers and embellishments.

I used an older Creative Memories template from the

Decorative Click and Fill for Tasha's page.

The this graduation page I used a blueprint by Pixels2Pages

KM Blessing  Fonts used are Legacy and Malbun Gothic

Galla Twins at 7 months

These two pages go side by side in my album. With such a simple layout the page goes together quickly.

I put in several layers on the pages. Using the opacity filter to give good depth.

With the Image Editor I adjust the lighting to reduce shadows and used the Perfectly Clear image tool.

Twins at Eight Months

The Galla twins turned 8 months. I am so amazed of how time flies by so quickly.  They are quickly turning into little people.  The baby days will soon be gone for Jonathan and Emma.

I like to keep my pages quick and easy.  For this one I copied and pasted the background papers from The Anatomy of a Salad.  Then I just plugged the pictures in, zoom, moved, cropped. There's not much to say on this page filled with faces!

National Ice Cream Day

This day rolls around every year.  What a great time to stop in the Walpole Creamery for some delicious ice-cream.

This is another easy page with not too much time in details.  Little changes and enhancements really make a page stand out.

Used the 3-D filter on yellow ribbon, change the color of the trim on the ice-cream cones and banner using the wand tool, created a stand off the page with inserting font shape, layering, and 3-D.

The Anatomy of a Japanese Salad

Lydia traveled to Japan in 2012 to help a missionary family. She picked up a few Japanese meals while over there. This Japanese Salad was one of them.  She made it for just our family one evening. Then in July while the Galla's were visiting she made it again.  Everyone enjoyed it. I think this will be added to our regular selection of meals.

Don't forget to document the everyday happenings!

This page is a very easy click and fill layout.

The background is a solid tan color paper. I reduced the opacity of the top layer of printed paper. This gives a very subtle effect without the design being over powering.
