Who Do We Murmur Against?

And Moses said, This shall be, when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full;

which ye murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD.
Exodus 16:8

· He that condemns God’s ministers condemns God himself.
· When men murmur against others for doing what God commands, instead of blaming men only, they are in reality blaming God.
· Are you thankful for the good things that God is working in you, your spouse, and you children – even if things seem difficult?
· Are you willing to offer to God the “sacrifice of praise” and thank Him for the gift of the people in our house even if there are some things that you would like to change?
· When in a season of contentment and blessing, be thankful for that. It is easy to take the good for granted. Be thankful in every season, whether good or not-so-good.

I put this on our refrigerator this be a constant reminder to me.

  1. Thank you dear friend. I think I will put it on my refrigerator also. Murmuring is such an ugly habit. One that is not easy to break. Sometimes it catches me unawares.

    As always, I leave filled...M.

    PS: Mandy, I am from South America, Colombia in fact. I learned how to drink tea here in the States. Something that interested me after I purchased my first copper teapot at a garage sale :) I used to drink coffee from the time I was 2yrs old...mixed with milk, of course ;)

  2. Good Morning Mandy,
    These words are so true...a reminder that we need to use our voices only to praise Him. Worrying, grumbling, and murmuring brings forth no "good fruit," and only grieves our Lord. Thank you for sharing this reminder!

    Have a blessed weekend,

    P.S. I really like your new pretty!
