Wednesday - Summer 2012 Trip

Day 10
We wake up to a very rainy day- but we ventured out for a tour of San Antonio by means of the Alamo Trolley.


We visited a some of the missions and cathedrals.

SAN FERNANDO CATHEDRAL
 
Mission San Jose
Mission Concepción 

Then we visited some other historical sites.
The Alamo
 The Spanish Governor's Palace
Of course we took a walk on the San Antonio River 
Just a moment along the River Walk

Our evening finish with a movie at the IMAX theater 
about the Alamo.
Many other places were seen or visited during the day--
but these were the main focus.

    I want to see those places! Thanks for sharing the pictures. The river walk looks so beautiful! You really saw a lot for getting started so late in the day. I miss you. Try to get a little rest the next few days. ;-)
